Terms of Use for StackClock
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to everyone who visits https://stackclock.app, with or without an account, including the free tools, the vendor deprecation feed, the blog, trust pages and badges. The site is run by OhMyLabs. By using it, you agree to these terms.
1. Free tools
The deadline check (https://stackclock.app/check) looks up a domain's registration and TLS certificate. The stack check (https://stackclock.app/stack-check) checks a dependency file against package registries, OSV.dev, endoflife.date and the vendor changes we track.
They're free, with a limit of 3 checks per hour each. Files are read, never executed. We keep the package list only until the check is done. Results live at a hard-to-guess link that anyone you share it with can open, for 7 days (deadline check) or 1 day (stack check). Don't paste files that contain secrets.
Results are for information only. Always double-check important dates with the source.
2. Vendor deprecations
The vendor deprecation feed (https://stackclock.app/changes) is extracted automatically from vendors' public changelogs and always links to the original. If our summary and the vendor disagree, the vendor wins. Vendor names and trademarks belong to their owners, and listing a vendor doesn't mean they endorse us. Vendors can email us to fix an entry.
Feel free to read it, link to it, quote it with credit, or follow the RSS feed. Don't copy the whole dataset.
3. Trust pages and badges
A badge shows a health grade calculated from the workspace's own data in StackClock. It's not an audit or a certification. Only embed your own badge, and don't alter it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't:
- use StackClock to scan or overload systems you don't own or aren't allowed to check
- get around rate limits or plan limits (rotating IPs, multiple accounts, scripts)
- scrape the site, beyond normal search indexing and the RSS feed
- try to access accounts or data that aren't yours
- upload malware or anything illegal
- spam, harass or impersonate anyone
- resell or rebrand StackClock without our permission
We may block or suspend anyone who does.
5. Security research
Found a vulnerability? Email [email protected] and give us time to fix it before going public. Good-faith research that doesn't touch other people's data or degrade the service is welcome.
6. Liability
The site and free tools are provided "as is". We're not liable for losses from relying on them. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to $100.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. We may update them; the date above shows the latest version.
