SUMMARY:Amazon Web Services: AWS CRT for JavaScript drops end-of-life Node.
 js versions from January 2027
DESCRIPTION:The AWS CRT for JavaScript is adopting a policy that aligns wit
h the official Node.js release schedule \, providing a predictable timelin
e for when support for older Node.js versions is dropped. The AWS IoT Devi
ce SDK for JavaScript v2 is built on top of AWS CRT for JavaScript\, so it
shares the same minimum Node.js version. When AWS CRT for JavaScript drop
s a Node.js version\, the AWS IoT Device SDK for JavaScript v2 drops it at
the same time.\n\nNew support policy\n\nCurrently\, AWS CRT for JavaScrip
t and AWS IoT Device SDK for JavaScript v2 still support Node.js 14.x\, wh
ich reached end of life in April 2023. Starting in January 2027\, AWS CRT
for JavaScript and AWS IoT Device SDK for JavaScript v2 will begin droppin
 g support for end-of-life Node.js versions following the Node.js release s
chedule.\n\nUnder this policy\, AWS CRT for JavaScript and AWS IoT Device
SDK for JavaScript v2 will support each Node.js LTS version until 8 months
past its end-of-life date\, in line with the AWS SDKs and Tool

SUMMARY:Amazon Web Services: Updating TypeScript version support in AWS SDK
  for JavaScript v3
DESCRIPTION:We’re updating TypeScript version support in the AWS SDK for
JavaScript v3 . Starting January 4\, 2027\, the SDK will require TypeScrip
t versions published within the last 2.5 years. Read on to learn what’s
changing\, why this change is necessary\, and what actions you may need to
take.\n\nWe built the AWS SDK for JavaScript with TypeScript-first develo
pment in mind\, designed to deliver smaller artifacts while taking advanta
ge of modern TypeScript features. This support policy update also aligns t
he SDK with the broader TypeScript ecosystem.\n\nWhat’s changing and why
\n\nThis change applies only if you use TypeScript with the AWS SDK for Ja
vaScript v3.\n\nThe TypeScript ecosystem has broadly converged on supporti
ng only recent compiler versions:\n\nDefinitelyTyped \, the central reposi
tory for community-maintained TypeScript type definitions (hosting types f
or 8\,000+ npm packages including @types/node and @types/react )\, only te
sts packages against TypeScript versions less than 2 years old. For more
